Seize opportunities, and go the extra mile.

Kaveri Yeolekar

The first day at the studio was a blend of excitement and nervousness. But as soon as I entered the studio, a space overflowing with artistic energy, I knew this would be a delightful experience. Recently, I interned at a creative design studio, which came around while I was still in college preparing for exams. Pivoting into the digital world was exciting and new since I belonged to a conventional art background.

Now that I look back with a cup of coffee, I am grateful that I went with my gut feeling and grabbed this opportunity. It allowed me to broaden my creative horizons, pick up crucial skills, and get an insight into the dynamic world of design. Unlike a classroom setting, my internship offered a chance to tackle real-world projects from start to completion.

Today, unraveling IMdesigns to Integra Magna, my heart is filled with appreciation towards Vyanjana Sharma and Misbah Qureshi for their success in taking the design studio’s identity to new, even greater levels. Salute to Dania Qureshi, one of the most diligent and committed, whose bizarre and mind-boggling interactions inspire and uplift the spirit.

During my internship, I had two wonderful bosses, Vyanjana and Misbah, who provided constant encouragement and allowed me to progress at my own pace. They guided me through every stage of the design process, emphasizing the importance of ideation, research, and visualization. The office atmosphere was vibrant, like a carnival of imagination, where creativity flourished. During brainstorming sessions and over coffee breaks, the studio’s lively atmosphere brought out our crazy ideas, ending in laughter. The day-to-day challenges of designing have also made me realize how crucial flexibility, resourcefulness, and time management are.

Vyanjana inspired us to learn something new every day by leading several interactive workshops on designing and the ideas behind logos, fonts, and colours. She continually encouraged us to read and discover new creative outlets, which improved our language learning, self-assurance, and communication abilities.

My co-workers Abhijeet Raut, Yuvraj Bokhre, and Tarmanjit Singh Manku were incredibly supportive mentors too, each displaying their distinctive creative flair, guiding me like a sailor, and leading me to the beach. This internship wasn’t just about gaining experience; it was about forming strong bonds with the team and cherishing the lively spirits of passionate individuals in the creative design field. It left me with wonderful memories.

No matter how many more coffee sessions it takes, the debate over AI won’t come to any conjecture!
